This course will cover basics of child development and psychology to help you understand why challenging behaviors might occur. It will also help you in identifying possible triggers in the childcare setting. It will prepare you to observe and consider multiple potential reasons for and solutions to these behaviors. You will be given tools to collaborate with coworkers and caregivers in setting up the child for success in the classroom and in future settings.
