Introduction to Invitations to Play

Description

Invitations to play are creative setups that encourage hands-on exploration and learning for children and provide intentional opportunities for them to take the lead in their learning. This course will equip you to understand what invitations to play are and how they support development in children ages 3-5. You’ll identify key elements of effective play invitations and use them to create engaging setups. Finally, you’ll design and implement invitations to play that reflect children’s interests, encourage exploration, and align with the ELGs.
